The Baha'i Faith,
a deceptive race-killing and nation-ending,man-created,
world-focused religion -- thrives at
the nadir of the Kali-Yuga, the Dark Age.

.
. . Hindu
cosmology. According to Vedic reckoning we are now
in
Kali Yuga, an unspiritual age of ignorance, sin, and short lifespans. Hindus believe that human civilization degenerates spiritually during the Kali Yuga,[4] which is referred to as the Dark Age because in it people are as far removed as possible from God. Hinduism often symbolically represents morality (dharma) as a bull. In Satya Yuga, the first stage of development, the bull has four legs, but in each age morality is reduced by one quarter. By the age of Kali, morality is reduced to only a quarter of that of the golden age, so that the bull of Dharma has only one leg.[5][6] Kali Yuga is associated with the apocalyptic demon
Kali,
not to be confused with the goddess Kālī
(read as Kaalee) (these are unrelated words in the Sanskrit language).
The "Kali" of Kali Yuga means "strife, discord, quarrel, or contention." According
to the traditional yuga reckoning, only 5 thousand years
(approximately) of the descending Kali Yuga are now passed, with
approximately
427,000 years still to go. In other words, there's still a long way to
go...DOWN.The yogi saint Sri Yukteswar called this "a dark
prospect" (yes, it is). But he stated that
this is an error; that a 430,000 year-long Kali Yuga was a mistake.
He stated that the Kali Yuga only lasts 2,400 years. More Wiki
contributors: Sri Yukteswar Giri
maintains that we have already rounded the nadir of the Kali Yuga, and
are already climbing the ascending cycle of the Dwapara Yuga
(Copper Age). According to him, the astronomers and astrologers who
calculated the almanacs were guided by the false annotations of certain
Sanskrit scholars such as Kullu Bhatta. As a result, they falsely
maintained that the length of Kali Yuga is 432,000 years, of which 4994
would have elapsed as of 1894, leaving 427,006 years remaining.
Yukteswar Giri declares this "A dark prospect! And fortunately one not
true." He himself offers an astronomical explanation for a shorter
cycle in which Kali Yuga lasts only 2,400 years (1,200 x 2 = one
descending Kali Yuga cycle + one ascending cycle). By Yukteswar's reckoning the Dwapara yuga (Copper Age) started in 1699 AD; that as of 2010 we are 310 years into the Ascending Dwapara Yuga. A scholarly analysis by John Major-Jenkins
states that some of Yukteswar's corrections were valid, but that
Yukteswar himself made new errors. Yet
Major-Jenkins' reckoning,
which places us just at the nadir of the Kali Yuga now, is also cause
for optimism. According to him,
the nadir (bottom) of the Kali Yuga is occurring right in this time, in
the year 2012. Then we will be turning
the corner back up into the
ascending phase (see link below). After the shipwrecks
and wars -- the momentum of forces of this degenerate age -- finally
play out, the ascending Kali
Yuga should bring a gradual rising out of social decay
and chaos. This
more
optimistic reckoning happens to correlate with many prophecies of major
world change
pegged to the year 2012.

"Kali
Yuga,
Rites of Passage and Modern Science" by Octavian Sarbatoare
The Mahanirvana Tantra extensively describes particularities of the Kali Age . . . as presented by Lord Shiva Himself to his wife Parvati. "O Sovereign Mistress of
Kaula doctrine! When the Heavenly Stream (i.e. the Ganges river) is at
some places broken and at others diverted from its course, then know
that the Kali Age has become strong. ... When women become difficult of
control, heartless and quarrelsome, and calumniators of their husbands,
then know that the Kali Age has become strong. When men become subject
to women and slaves of lust, oppressors of their friends and Teachers,
then know that the Kali Age has become strong. When the fertility of
the earth has gone and yields a poor harvest, when the clouds yield
scanty rain, and trees give poor fruit, then know that the Kali Age has
become strong. When brothers, kinsmen, and companions, prompted by the
desire to obtain things of small value, will strike one another, then
know that the Kali Age has become strong. When the open partaking of
flesh and liquor will pass without condemnation and punishment, when
the secret drinking will prevail, then know that the Kali Age has
become strong."
